Safeguarding Essentials

The course aims to support you in understanding safeguarding vulnerable adults and safeguarding children.

It will explore types and indicators of abuse and neglect. You will develop knowledge and skills in recognising, responding and reporting safeguarding concerns and know how to effectively talk with the family you support about safeguarding.

Furthermore, the course will enable you to explore practical scenarios you may encounter and reflect on your next steps as a Community Sponsorship group.
